Dr. Vithiananthan is a Minimally Invasive, Robotic surgeon specializing in General Surgery as well as Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery. He received his medical degree from Columbia University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons and is board certified in general surgery and surgical critical care. He is also fellowship trained in advanced laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Vithiananthan is an Adjunct Professor of Surgery at Alpert Medical School at Brown University and earned a certification in Physician Leadership at the T. H. Chan Harvard School of Public Health. He was recently elected to Alpha Omega Alpha the only world-wide medical honor society.
