The Endocrinology division at CHA focuses on the body’s glands and the hormones they produce. Your glands (thyroid, pituitary, adrenal, ovaries, etc.) control many body functions like hunger, blood sugar and reproduction.

Diabetes Support
Your doctor may refer you to a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES). These nurses provide specialized education and help people better manage their diabetes. They help patients develop goals to best optimize their health care and health outcomes. A CDCES receives training in all aspects of diabetes treatment including insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitors, telehealth, medication and nutrition.
