Telehealth Visits at CHA

See your care team in a whole new way

CHA now uses the EPIC platform for video visits. This lets you connect with your providers securely using your computer, phone or other mobile device.

A telehealth visit is a video or phone appointment with your CHA provider or health care team. You can do this from your home, from work, or in another private location.

Tips for Video Visits:
  • Try to have your visit in a private, quiet setting. This will allow you to talk about your personal or private medical issues.
  • Because the visit is done remotely, there are some things we can’t do during a telehealth visit. Your provider can tell you if you need to come in for a follow-up visit or tests.
  • CHA is a "video-first" system. Please plan on having your camera on for your visit.
  • You must be in Massachusetts during your visit. If you will be out of state, please call your clinic to reschedule.
  • You may have a co-pay or deductible for your video visit. This is usually the same as an in-person visit.

Please watch this video to understand more about the telehealth visit process.

How to Get Connected:
  • Look for a text or email from CHA 30 minutes before your visit.
  • If you have a MyCHArt account, please click the link in the notification text at your appointment time to join the visit.
  • If you do not have a MyCHArt account, please click the link in the notification text at your appointment time and enter your phone number and date of brith to join the visit.
  • When you join your visit, you will enter our virtual room. Your CHA provider will join you shortly.
