Welcome to the CHA Department of Surgery, an experienced team that offers high quality care and advanced techniques to patients from across the Boston region.
As Chief of Surgery, it is my honor to lead a remarkable group of providers. Our surgeons trained at the nation’s finest hospitals and many hold faculty positions at Harvard Medical School. They are skilled, dedicated and incredibly thoughtful in their approach.
At CHA, you’ll find a wide range of surgical care - including complex subspecialty services - in a local, community setting. We’re not as big as some other Boston-area hospitals, and we feel that’s a good thing. Each of our surgeons has years of experience and works closely with patients and families. You’ll find advice, care and compassion to improve or restore your health.
Whether you are coming to see us for breast surgery, general surgery, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, plastic surgery, podiatry, thoracic surgery, urology or vascular surgery, I can assure you that you are in good hands. Most recently, we began using the daVinci Xi surgical robot, a highly sophisticated surgical platform, to provide cutting edge care. This technology puts CHA on par with any hospital in Boston.
