Routine Gynecology
You can see an expert CHA gynecologist, Family Medicine doctor or Midwife at several of our Boston-area centers including our centers in Cambridge, Revere or Somerville.
Surgical Gynecology
Our experienced team offers minimally invasive surgery for benign gynecological cases and major gynecological surgeries.
Adolescent Gynecology
Our Adolescent Gynecologists understand the younger population, providing expert services in a setting which is sensitive to adolescent needs. Available at several CHA sites, including the Cambridge Teen Health Center, the Somerville Teen Connection, Everett Teen Health Center and Malden Teen Health Center.
Menopause Issues
As we grow older, our bodies change, often noticeably. You may be experiencing symptoms like hot flashes, heavy bleeding or nothing at all. Menopause actually includes three stages: perimenopause (early symptoms), menopause and post-menopause (when menopause transition has ended).
Our doctors will help you understand your options, including the many therapies available for you and your needs. Your care team will also help you manage the unique stress that can come during this transition. Whatever you are experiencing, your CHA provider is here for you.
Reproductive Health
CHA is committed to providing the best possible care to all our patients, including those who need reproductive health services. Our amazing and caring staff respects you and is here to support the decisions you make about your body. Reproductive health services, from contraception to abortion, are available at CHA. Contact one of our Obstetrics and Gynecology Department locations listed below to schedule an appointment.
If you are uninsured, can’t safely use your insurance, or are under 26 years old and seeking confidential care, you may be eligible for free or low-cost sexual and reproductive health care at CHA. All services are confidential, and we do not share information with police or immigration agencies. Please contact Sexual Reproductive Health for more details. Emergency contraception (Plan B, also called "the Morning After Pill") is available at CHA pharmacies.
