CHA Raises $147K to Support Its Sibling Support and Addictions Recovery Programs

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), an academic community health system serving Cambridge, Somerville and Boston’s metro-north region, held its annual Golf Invitational on Monday, August 7, at the Oakley Country Club in Watertown. The tournament successfully raised $147,000 to support patient experience of care initiatives, including the Sibling Support Program and services for patients recovering from addiction. CHA has raised more than $1 million to help fund projects and programming since the tournament’s inception over a decade ago, including upgrades to the Maternity Suite and Everett Hospital Emergency Department, strengthening digital communications with patients, and the purchase of video translation equipment to help ensure all patients understand their care.
