CHA Names New Breast Center Director
CHA welcomes Amy Moldrem as director of Cambridge Breast Center
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), a community health system serving Cambridge, Somerville and Boston's metro-north communities, has named Amy Moldrem, MD, director of its nationally accredited Cambridge Breast Center.
Dr. Moldrem is a fellowship-trained breast surgeon and breast surgical oncologist. Prior to joining CHA, she was a practicing breast surgeon at Mercy Health in Cincinnati, Ohio. She also previously served as a physician at the Parkland Multidisciplinary Breast Cancer in Dallas, Texas, and director of its Parkland High Risk Breast Clinic, as well as co-director of the Lexington Clinic Center for Breast Care in Lexington, Kentucky.
Dr. Moldrem is a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine who completed residency in general surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. She subsequently completed the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Interdisciplinary Breast Fellowship at the UT Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Moldrem received her BS in microbiology from the University of Georgia.
