CHA Named a 2025 Leading Disability Employer

National Organization on Disability recognizes CHA as disability-friendly workplace
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), an academic community health system serving Cambridge, Somerville and Boston's metro-north region, has been designated as a 2025 NOD Leading Disability Employer by the National Organization on Disability (NOD). This esteemed award recognizes exceptional disability inclusion practices and policies across the entire employee lifecycle.
The award is granted to companies that are top performers on the NOD Disability Inclusion Blueprint, a comprehensive assessment tool evaluating a company’s adoption of employment practices that create disability-friendly workplaces. The accolade reflects CHA’s disability inclusion efforts in areas including workforce strategy, talent sourcing, climate, and culture, and workplace tools.
"We know disability inclusive organizations are better positioned to attract and retain top talent, improve employee satisfaction, and expand market reach. We applaud Cambridge Health Alliance’s investment in professional opportunities and futures for Americans with disabilities," said Beth Sirull, chief executive officer and president, National Organization on Disability.
"We are extremely proud to be named a Leading Disability Employer by the National Organization on Disability," said Assaad Sayah, MD, CEO of Cambridge Health Alliance. "This recognition is incredibly affirming of our commitment to building a stronger, more engaged workforce."
